On Friday, March 7, we will leave Brooks with 10 students for our 6th eco/adventure-tourism trip to Belize, Central America.
Check back here for commentary, photos and perhaps some video of the trip, and come along with us as we explore the rainforest, the underground cave systems, Maya ruins, the tropical river ecosystem, and a huge working farm that includes coffee and cacao plantations. Visit the Gallon Jug Community School with us as Brooks students take over for a day and deliver lesson plans they have designed with their partner teachers. Join us as we snorkel the world's second-largest barrier reef, and chill with sharks and stingrays in Belize's renown Shark-Ray Alley.
It's a wild, dusty, hot, bumpy and beautiful ride - come along with us!
